The Basic GHD was designed to be a high-quality Glute Ham Developer Machine but a more cost-effective version than our Alpha GHD Model. The basic model has frame color options but the pads and rollers are always black. This unit is fully constructed out of 3×3 tubing with 1″ holes, allowing you to add attachments or logos whenever desired.
To keep the price of the unit down we made the footplate have a UMHW slide that allows the footplate to be adjusted from front to back. The footplate only has two rollers compared to four on our Alpha GHD unit, our old GHD unit we sold for 15 years only had 2 rollers which work well for everything other than dynamic/ballistic exercises where you would want four rollers to lock your feet in.
