LTL / Freight Shipments

Large Stray Dog Strength equipment orders may ship by Less-Than-Truckload (LTL) freight.

This commonly includes racks, machines, storage systems, larger equipment packages, and facility orders.

Before delivery, the freight carrier may contact you to schedule an appointment. We recommend having someone available to receive the shipment and having the necessary equipment or personnel ready to safely unload and move the order.

When your freight shipment arrives:

  • Inspect the shipment before signing the delivery receipt.
  • Check the pallet, skid, boxes, and wrapping for visible damage.
  • Take photos of the shipment before unpacking.
  • Note any visible damage directly on the carrier’s delivery receipt.
  • Confirm that the shipment includes the expected number of packages or pallets.
  • Inspect equipment for cosmetic or functional damage as soon as possible.
  • Keep all packaging until you are confident the shipment arrived in good condition.
  • Contact Stray Dog Strength promptly if anything is missing or damaged.

Damages:

Claims for freight damage may depend on documentation provided at the time of delivery.

If damage is visible, make sure it is noted on the carrier’s paperwork before signing and accepting the shipment.

Parcel Shipments

Smaller products may ship through parcel carriers such as UPS.

Once your order ships, you will receive tracking information when available.

When your package arrives:

  • Inspect the box for visible damage.
  • Take photos before opening if the packaging appears damaged.
  • Confirm all items listed on your order are included.
  • Inspect products for cosmetic or functional damage.
  • Keep packaging until you have confirmed the order arrived correctly.
  • Contact Stray Dog Strength if anything is missing or damaged.

DELIVERY & INSTALLATION

For larger facility projects, delivery and installation requirements may vary depending on the scope of the project. If Stray Dog Strength is coordinating installation for your facility, delivery logistics will be planned as part of the project process. For equipment-only orders, customers should confirm unloading requirements and building access before delivery.

If you are unsure what your order will require, contact our team before it ships.

Frequently Asked Shipping Questions

What items ship by LTL freight?

Large or heavy products may require LTL freight shipping, including:

  • Rack systems
  • ATR systems
  • Machines
  • Storage systems
  • Large equipment packages
  • Complete facility orders

Your sales representative will provide tracking information and shipping details once your order is ready to ship.

Will LTL freight be delivered directly to my garage or facility?

LTL freight carriers are generally only required to deliver the shipment to the curbside or accessible delivery area.

Customers are responsible for moving equipment from the delivery location into the building unless additional delivery or installation services have been arranged in advance.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes. Stray Dog Strength can ship internationally.

International customers should contact our team before ordering so we can confirm shipping availability and provide an accurate freight estimate.

International customers are responsible for any applicable duties, import taxes, tariffs, brokerage fees, or other charges required by the destination country.

Are duties and import taxes included in the product price?

No.

Duties, import taxes, brokerage fees, tariffs, and other international charges are not included in the product price unless specifically stated.

These costs are the responsibility of the customer.

How do I move the skid if it is delivered to my driveway?

For larger freight deliveries, we recommend having equipment available to safely move the shipment from the truck or delivery location.

Depending on the size of your order, this may include:

  • Forklift
  • Tractor with forks
  • Pallet jack
  • Other appropriate material-handling equipment

If you are unsure what will be required for your shipment, contact our team before delivery.

Can I add smaller products to my LTL shipment?

In many cases, yes.

If you already have a freight shipment scheduled, contact your sales representative before the order ships to ask whether additional products can be added.

Adding smaller items to an existing freight shipment may help reduce additional shipping costs.

How do I make sure my shipment is not left unattended?

LTL deliveries generally require the carrier to contact you to schedule a delivery appointment.

We recommend confirming delivery instructions directly with the freight carrier and making sure someone is available to receive and inspect the shipment.

What should I do if my shipment arrives damaged?

Inspect all freight shipments before signing the delivery receipt.

If you see visible damage:

  1. Take clear photos of the shipment before unloading or opening it.
  2. Note all visible damage on the delivery receipt.
  3. Take photos of damaged packaging and products.
  4. Keep all packaging materials.
  5. Contact Stray Dog Strength as soon as possible.

Damage that is not documented at delivery may be more difficult to process with the freight carrier.

How can I track my order?

Once your order ships, tracking information will be provided when available.

Parcel shipments can typically be tracked through the carrier website.

For LTL freight orders, your sales representative will provide freight tracking information and carrier details so you can monitor the shipment and coordinate delivery.
