WHAT IS THE ALPHA RACK?
The Alpha is Stray Dog Strength's flagship commercial power rack and squat rack. Built from 3×3" 11-gauge steel with a proprietary 4-way hole system, it is the most modular commercial rack on the market. Available in four configurations — Half, Double Half, Full, and Half Full — with full custom branding options. Made in Columbus, Ohio with a lifetime warranty on all welds and frames.
WHAT CONFIGURATIONS DOES THE ALPHA RACK COME IN?
Four configurations: Half Rack(36" depth, open front), Double Half Rack(69" depth, walk-in style), Full Rack(72" depth, enclosed power cage), and Half Full Rack(105" depth, combo). All are 96" tall and 49" wide, built from 3×3" 11-gauge steel with numbered uprights.
WHAT STEEL DOES THE ALPHA RACK USE?
3×3" 11-gauge steel with 1" holes on 2" spacing. This is the commercial industry standard and ensures full compatibility with most third-party rack attachments. The switch to 1" holes in 2021 opened the Alpha up to the broader commercial attachment ecosystem.

CAN ATR UNITS CONNECT TO ALPHA RACKS?
Yes. ATR sides mount directly off an Alpha rack, extending your lifting station into an integrated cable and storage system without adding floor footprint.
HOW MANY RACK STATIONS DO I NEED FOR MY PROGRAM?
One station per 3–4 athletes is a standard starting point. The right split between Alpha racks and ATR units depends on your training methodology, space, and scheduling. This is the core question we work through during the free facility design consultation.
WHAT WARRANTY COMES WITH STRAY DOG RACKS?
Lifetime warranty on all welds and frames. Wear items like upholstery and cables are replaceable through our maintenance program.
