Every Alpha Rack includes custom laser-cut branding as a standard feature. Each rack comes with a single-layer laser-cut logo, with upgrade options available for more detailed laser-cut designs or full-color decal logos. We also include three-tone customization for the uprights, crossmembers, and accents, giving you the ability to match your school's branding without added cost. Few racks on the market offer this level of customization as standard, so be sure to consider everything that's included when comparing pricing.
Included Laser Cut Logos
Shown below at Cuyahoga Falls High School is the included single-layer laser-cut logo displaying "Black Tigers." This design is 12 characters long and represents the ideal format for the standard logo. We recommend keeping these logos between 13 and 16 characters, as additional letters must be made smaller and become more difficult to read.
This logo is on an Alpha Double Half Rack, so it was made double-sided. The standard logo is text-only and does not support images. The lettering is laser cut from a single sheet of steel and mounted over a contrasting Logo Beam Crossmember. In this example, a black overlay is mounted over a yellow crossmember, allowing the yellow lettering to shine through for a clean, high-contrast appearance.
Upgraded Laser Cut Logos
Our upgraded Laser-Cut Logo option features a center text section with two image logo locations on either side, allowing you to display both your school logo and a custom phrase. Many schools choose to feature a motto, core value, or mascot name in the center rather than the school name. Click here to watch a video on laser-cut logos and how they are made.
Our multi-layer laser-cut process can produce highly detailed designs, but some logos are simply too complex to manufacture in steel. For those cases, we also offer a full-color decal logo option, which reproduces intricate artwork while providing a more cost-effective solution.
Decal Logo Upgrade
Similar to our upgraded Laser-Cut Logo, the Decal Logo Upgrade features a center text section with image logos on each side. Decals allow for full-color, highly detailed artwork with virtually unlimited colors and gradients, making them ideal for complex school logos. Shown here at Kent State University is an Alpha Half/Full Combo Rack with a double-sided Decal Logo.
Laser-cut logos are limited to a maximum of eight steel layers, with each color requiring its own layer. While this process produces a premium dimensional look, it isn't practical for every logo. In those cases, the Decal Logo Upgrade offers an accurate, cost-effective way to reproduce even the most intricate designs.
Led Logo Upgrade
Technology has become an essential part of today's weight room. Many facilities now power iPads, VBT systems, TVs, and other training technology directly from the rack. Every Alpha Rack is designed with integrated wire pass-through channels, making it easy to add power now or in the future, even if it wasn't included in the original plan.
This built-in wiring also allows for our optional backlit LED logo. Rather than using multi-color LEDs, we use bright white LEDs paired with different colored acrylic inserts to create the desired glow. Shown here, a clear insert creates a clean, illuminated look similar to a MacBook logo.
Pro Bar Cup and Spotter Arms
Our Pro Series Bar Cups and Spotter Arms provide even more opportunities to showcase your program's branding throughout the rack. These come standard with our Pro Series Racks or can be added onto Alpha Racks as an upgrade for 10 units or more.
The Pro Series Bar Cup is more than a cosmetic upgrade. It is also a significant functional improvement over our standard UHMW Bar Cup. The steel body is completely sandwiched between UHMW plastic, ensuring the barbell never comes into contact with metal while being racked. We also upgraded the adjustment pin to stainless steel, eliminating paint wear over time, and added a tapered tip to make adjustments faster and easier.
The Pro Series Spotter Arm features UHMW plastic on both sides of the steel, eliminating metal-to-metal contact and protecting your barbell. A dedicated text logo location along the top of the arm provides another opportunity to showcase your school's branding. The frame also includes integrated ISO Teeth, allowing the Spotter Arm to be used for overcoming isometric training without additional attachments.
Logo Toppers
We also offer Logo Toppers that mount to our Top Beam Connectors, which tie racks together side by side. These provide another premium branding location for school logos, mascots, mottos, or sponsor plaques. Many schools use them as a fundraising opportunity by recognizing local sponsors. This is best done with Decals as they are more cost-effective.
